Steelers defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day could miss the rest of the season
The Pittsburgh Morning News team
Bad news for the Steelers' defensive line. Jack Sawyer told Gerry Dulac on 102.5 WDVE's "Chalk Talk" that Sebastian Joseph-Day could miss the rest of the season.
“Obviously, we're looking forward to getting Derrick back. It sucks we're not gonna be able to get Sebastian back for- maybe at all.”
Joseph-Day, 31, is on injured reserve with a triceps injury. The Steelers put him there ahead of their Week 7 game against the Saints in Paris, and he'll miss four games at the absolute minimum.

- Contract: two-year, $11 million, signed this offseason

- McCarthy last week: "they'll all have a chance to come back"
Week 12Earliest Joseph-Day can be activated from injured reserve
Even with the four-game minimum, Sawyer's comments leave his return this year up in the air.
