About this event

The violin soars as James Ehnes performs Tchaikovsky’s concerto, blending each phrase with lyricism and intensity. Kevin John Edusei makes his Pittsburgh debut, shaping the orchestra’s rich sound to complement the concerto’s dramatic sweep and charm. Strauss’s Also Sprach Zarathustra is a breathtaking orchestral journey, instantly recognizable from 2001: A Space Odyssey and recently featured in the record-breaking Barbie film.
