About this event

A second A&S night will be running each month on the first or second Monday, from 6 pm - 9 pm. Drop in when it is convenient for you! Bring your own project, or just come and we will have a mini-project available at each meeting (materials will be provided at no cost). Mini-projects will be oriented towards creating largesse, but you can take the first one home, of course!

Location: 102 Linnview Ave. We are on the #51 bus route; the closest stop is Brownsville Road and Nobles Lane, and the bus runs every 25 minutes. From that stop, walk past the Rite Aid building to Linnview Ave. We are the big blue house at the corner of Linnview and Amanda Avenues. If you are coming by car, there is parking available on the street. People can enter either through the front door or the back sliding door.

Accessibility concerns: There is one dog, two cats, and one turtle living in the house. The dogs and cats will be confined to the upper floors, a HEPA-filter vacuum cleaner will be used to vacuum the first floor, and there will be an air filter operating on the first floor; however, this might not mitigate all pet allergies. Please use your best judgment. We are a peanut-free house. We will have tea and coffee available for attendees. Individuals who use wheelchairs or walkers (or those transporting individuals who use wheelchairs or walkers) are invited to park in the driveway behind the house; the driveway gate will be open, and they should drive as close to the back door as possible. There will be a threshold ramp at the back/sliding door. Please contact me if you are an individual who uses a wheelchair and will be arriving by bus; I will pick you up from the stop and bring you to the back door. The bathroom has a 5' by 5' turning area and safety bars for the toilet. There will also be a low-sensory space (dark, quiet) available for individuals who need to decompress.
