About this event
Description of Hilltop Urban Farm :
Hilltop Urban Farm is a nonprofit, community-centered farm in Pittsburgh’s Hilltop community. Located on 23 acres of land - with 5 acres currently dedicated to agriculture - HUF is a multi-pronged initiative that provides agricultural-based education for all ages, generates entrepreneurial opportunities through the Farmer Incubation Program, and produces locally-grown crops for our neighbors distributed through three Hilltop food pantries.

Located at 700 Cresswell St. Pittsburgh, PA 15210 HUF sits within the former St. Clair Village housing development. Currently there are three different ways to volunteer at HUF: (1) Every third Saturday is an open Volunteer Day 9am - 12pm, April - October. Farm tasks for all abilities are planned for the timeframe and depending on how many people show up, are accomplished together. We also have one Wednesday evening to welcome folks who work during the day.
