Something strange is happening in Downtown New Kensington... and we need your help solving the case.

Friday, November 13th, downtown New Ken becomes one giant interactive mystery with shopping, specials, activities, workshops, food, drinks & surprises happening along the way.

Grab your friends, pick up your Case #1313 investigation file, and make your way through participating downtown businesses as you collect evidence, uncover clues, solve and piece together what happened.

Clues and evidence will be waiting throughout downtown. Some may be hidden in plain sight. Some will eliminate suspects. Others might require you to solve a puzzle, decipher a message, complete a challenge or interact with one of the participating stops. Keep track of your evidence because you'll eventually need to determine:

📍 WHERE DO WE START?

You can begin at ANY participating CASE #1313 business or investigation location in Downtown New Kensington. Grab a Case File and start investigating! Evidence stations can be completed in any order.

🔎 WHERE IS CASE #1313 HEADQUARTERS?

Saging Space is the official CASE #1313 Headquarters. After investigating downtown and gathering your evidence, you'll head to Headquarters to complete the final portion of the investigation and submit your theory.

⏱️ HOW LONG WILL THE INVESTIGATION TAKE?

We recommend allowing approximately 60 minutes to investigate, complete challenges and make your way to Headquarters. You may want to allow more time if you'd like to shop, grab food or drinks, participate in business activities or simply take your time exploring downtown.

Headquarters closes at 9 PM, so plan your start time accordingly!

👥 HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE ON A TEAM?

Investigate solo or bring a crew! We recommend teams of 2–6 investigators so everyone can participate in the clue-solving and challenges.

💰 IS IT FREE?

Yes! The CASE #1313 investigation is completely FREE to participate in. Participating businesses may offer optional shopping, food, drinks, specials or additional activities throughout the evening.

🧩 WHAT KIND OF EVENT IS THIS?

Think interactive mystery clue + scavenger hunt + escape-room-style challenges, except Downtown New Kensington becomes your investigation area! You'll explore participating locations, complete challenges and gather evidence as you work to crack CASE #1313.

🚶 DO WE HAVE TO VISIT THE LOCATIONS IN ORDER?

No! Evidence stations can be completed in ANY order. If one location is busy, simply continue investigating elsewhere and come back later.

🕵️ DO WE NEED TO COMPLETE EVERY EVIDENCE STATION?

You'll want to gather as much evidence as possible before heading to Headquarters. Every piece could matter when it's time to build your final theory. 👀

🌙 IS THIS EVENT INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Both! CASE #1313 will take you through participating downtown businesses and outdoor investigation locations. Dress for November weather, wear comfortable shoes and remember 🚨 this case continues after dark.

🛍️ DO WE HAVE TO PURCHASE ANYTHING?

No purchase is required to investigate CASE #1313. Participating businesses may offer their own optional specials, shopping, food, drinks, workshops or activities throughout the evening.

🐈⬛ IS IT FAMILY-FRIENDLY?

Yes! CASE #1313 is designed to be mysterious, spooky and playful, not graphic or gory. Some puzzles may require help from an adult for younger investigators.

🕔 DO WE HAVE TO ARRIVE AT 5 PM?

No! Investigations can begin throughout the evening. However, you'll need enough time to gather your evidence and reach CASE #1313 Headquarters at Saging Space before 9 PM. We recommend beginning no later than 7:30 PM if you want to experience the full investigation.
