Womens' Drum Circle - November 2026 (Monaca)

About this event

FREE or PAY AS YOU CAN

The monthly Womens' Drum Circle seeks to create a safe community for women to come together and simply be themselves. We will laugh, may cry, and some of us may simply be quiet even in the midst of drumming and music-making. Rhythm and music is what will join us together. NO MUSIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Instruments will be provided, but if you have your own drum or other instrument, you are welcome to bring it.

If you are new to any type of music-making, do not worry, the Drum Circle begins with brief instruction on how to play the drums and other rhythm instruments to get a satisfying sound without hurting yourself or the instrument. Seasoned players also benefit from this brief instruction, as it is a great way to warm up the body for playing.

This is a smoke, drug, and alcohol-free environment.

FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2026: The drum circle is free or pay as you can, and a donation jar will be at the event. Budget and finances continue to be a challenge for everyone. Let's finish the year by putting self-care first and attend for free or pay what you can to help with costs for the 90-minute drum circle.

Location notes:

Studio H is located next to the Sunoco Gas Station and in the same building as Harper's Barbershop. It is the light blue building between the orange and dark blue. The parking lot can be dark, and we are working on getting outside lights so it is easier to find the building.

Bright blue building between orange and dark blue buildings. The bright blue is StudioH, location for the drum circle.
