- ➤ Amazon now offers same-day delivery in Western PA with its new Imperial facility processing packages for customers across Greater Pittsburgh from Wheeling to Greensburg — adding over 100 local jobs just days before Christmas. KDKA

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Highmark tied for 8th place among U.S. health insurers in an AMA report released Dec. 19, crediting its 2% market share. The insurer now serves Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, and Delaware — and plans to expand through a new Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliation to cover one million members. WPXI
- ➤ UPMC will increase wages for non-union nurses by $23 million as part of its compensation for over 20,000 employees. The health system will also graduate 380 new nurses this week (with union nurse pay to be negotiated later). KDKA
