  • Light of Life Rescue Mission hosted its 73rd annual Thanksgiving meal on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at its Voeghtly shelter—over 100 volunteers cooked meals and distributed food boxes, 700 winter coats and 500 winter kits to help 23,000 people amid rising food insecurity—.  WPXI
  • Spring Hill resident Karen Lucarelli organized a Thanksgiving food drive and her plan became a team effort as local volunteers stepped in during a lengthy government shutdown+ ensuring neighbors had a meal for the holiday.  Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
