Good morning, Pittsburgh. Here's your local news at a glance for Thursday, the 6th of November.
COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ Ricky Smith—owner of Boxflipz on Smithfield Street—gave away essential food and household items for free to help community members affected by the government shutdown and cuts to SNAP benefits; he placed large boxes along the sidewalk toward Fourth Street where dozens lined up for supplies. For the next two months, anyone in need can access these free essentials while the store continues its $1 items on Thursdays. WTAE
