- ➤ Leaders from Pittsburgh and Allegheny County met Tuesday at the City—County Building to mark Homeless Children's Awareness Month with a three minute silence where each person held a drawn picture of a child affected by homelessness; officials said over 3,600 children were represented and urged support through donations, volunteering, or advocacy. - ➤ A Vietnam-era helicopter outside VFW Post 92 in Lower Burrell was restored by students from Forbes Road Career and Technology Center who partnered with AK Valley Back the Blue last weekend — they repainted the aircraft at 1601 Wildlife Lodge Road to honor veterans. The Tribune-Review
