  • After the city’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure released an updated Penn Avenue Rightsizing plan on September 17, Strip District merchants filed a lawsuit in Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas to stop the project—this plan would reduce Penn Avenue from two lanes to one between 31st and 22nd streets, add a bike lane, and change parking zones. The lawsuit seeks a permanent injunction to halt these changes and protect local businesses.  WPXI
