Fire crews are battling a massive fire at an apartment complex on Forward Avenue in Squirrel Hill — heavy smoke is billowing toward drivers on the Parkway while officials said it is unclear if anyone was injured.

Yesterday morning, a four-alarm fire at an apartment building in Squirrel Hill caused the roof to collapse—firefighters battled fierce flames on Forward Avenue near Murray Avenue.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are optimistic that Joey Porter Jr. and Nick Herbig will play Sunday against the Seahawks.

Coach Mike Tomlin said Porter was questionable after a tightened hamstring during the Jets game & Herbig is making steady progress after his hamstring strain.
