  • A 9-year-old from Dunbar was reported missing Wednesday and found partially submerged in the Youghiogheny River just before 4 a.m. on Thursday, and Fayette County police are investigating her adoptive parent—accused of criminal homicide pending an autopsy.  The Tribune-Review

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Leetsdale officials plan to turn an old railroad bridge into an emergency road linking the Leetsdale and Ambridge Industrial Parks to help more than 200 residents and 6,000 workers escape quickly. A study will check the bridge and the project could cost up to $3.3 million as they seek state and federal funds—officials say the change is needed for safety.  The Tribune-Review
