- ➤ A 2-year-old (Mykhia Worthy) drowned in a neighbor’s pool in Stowe Township last night when a 911 call around 7 p.m. led first responders to residents performing CPR, but he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. KDKA

- ➤ A woman impersonated a nurse by stealing identities to work in nine local healthcare facilities — the Pennsylvania Health Care Association and police say the broken staffing system allowed her to work repeatedly when she should have been stopped. WPXI
- ➤ Saul Ramirez-Rivera, a 25-year-old man in Dormont involved in the hit-and-run on September 21, 2024, that killed motorcyclist Christian Sluka, pleaded guilty to illegal re-entry in Federal Court and was sentenced to 14 months in prison—prosecutors say he will be deported after serving his sentence.
