- ➤ Firefighters responded early Friday morning to a fire at The Square on Butler in Lower Lawrenceville—where a building with retail and residential units was affected—and no injuries were reported. WTAE

- ➤ Police arrested William Howell—alleged getaway driver in the deadly shooting near John F. Kennedy Catholic Elementary School in Allegheny County, where Nasstylejah Wilkerson died after being shot—and he will be brought to Washington next week to face homicide and conspiracy charges. WPXI

- ➤ Today the Derry Area Historical Society restored the 1817 Fulton House by replacing the decayed rear floor with rare chestnut and oak boards salvaged from the 1789 home of early settler William Guthrie donated by Dave McMahan.
