EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Burrell School District has sent letters to 27 families whose children attend cyber charter schools and will launch a website to include them in district news—this move comes as districts face rising cyber school tuition costs and lawmakers consider a flat tuition rate. The proposal also includes stricter budget rules that could reduce personalized services and increase class sizes if enacted. The Tribune-Review
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Federal funding cuts and delays halved food vouchers for low-income families and seniors in the Women, Infants and Children and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Programs, officials said.
