  • Voodoo Brewing Company will close its North Shore location — three months after it announced the closing of its Seven Fields location.  WPXI

CRIME NEWS

  • In Westmoreland County, jurors view body camera footage as the trial continues of a man accused of leading a multi-county chase and shooting at an officer in November—footage that shows a high-speed pursuit ending when officers stopped his fleeing Jeep.  WPXI
  • Police said a man was killed Tuesday after he was shot outside a gas station in Lawrenceville — the incident took place in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood.  Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

CULTURE NEWS

  • Starting September 1, 2025, the Heinz History Center will offer free admission for children 17 and under after receiving an $11.5 million grant from Dan and Carole Kamin—this donation is set to help teachers bring whole classes and remove financial barriers for families. The grant may also inspire other local museums to offer similar benefits.  KDKA
  • Pittsburgh band Diamond Reo returns with a lost album—its name comes from a Motor City truck brand and the group earned a second nickname for its daring style.  Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Pittsburgh Job Corps will close its Highland Park campus on June 30, displacing 438 students and about 180 staff members. Among the students, 188 live on-site and nearly 50 face immediate homelessness.  WPXI

SPORTS NEWS

  • Oakmont Country Club will host the U.S. Open Merchandise Pavilion from June 5 to June 8 at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.—offering over 500,000 items from 45 brands, including hats, shirts, and golf gear—for fans to get championship gear without needing a ticket.  WPXI
  • The Steelers announced their 2025 home game themes for eight home games and one game in Dublin with plans that include a Family Day preseason opener, a Run Walk charity game with the season opener, a breast cancer awareness game on October 12, and a Halloween-themed game on October 26—additional games honor alumni, service members and fans.   • The Pittsburgh Steelers will host former Bills & Jaguars wide receiver Gabe Davis today to see if he can add strength to the passing game. Davis is known for making long catches and solid blocks and is free to sign with any team.  PennLive
