- ➤ Sheetz is launching Shpiked Peach Ringz vodka soda today at select locations and at PNC Park for every Pirates home game, with the drink available in 5% and 8% alcohol options mixed with peach gummy rings. Consumers can buy a 16-ounce can for $2.19 or a six-pack of 12-ounce cans for $11.99, with 19-ounce cans at PNC Park also priced at $11.99 — a new way for adults to enjoy summer fun. KDKA

- ➤ Pittsburgh police identified Jeremy Brokaw, 45, of Zanesville, Ohio, as the suspect responsible for antisemitic flyers thrown from a moving vehicle, with the flyers—found in clear bags filled with kernels of corn—leading to over 160 traffic citations that carry a $300 fine each in Squirrel Hill and Shadyside. - ➤ The Richard King Mellon Foundation has given $10 million to the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to cover finishing costs for Arts Landing & to support its operations before it opens in 2026. The grant is one of the biggest in the Trust’s more than 40 years of work and will help complete and maintain the new community space. CBS Pittsburgh

- ➤ William 'B' Marshall is taking the city to court because his permit for his big Juneteenth event has not been approved even though he sent it on Feb 5 and his event will move from Point State Park to Mellon Park from Jun 19 to Jun 22. City officials say they are still checking the request with help from PennDOT — a step needed to plan a detour for Penn Avenue. The Tribune-Review

- ➤ Seven former Pitt athletes and the longtime Pitt Band director were named to the 2025 Hall of Fame class—including football star Aaron Donald—and they will be inducted at a dinner on Sept. 26 at the Petersen Events Center and recognized during the Panthers’ game on Sept. 27 at Acrisure Stadium. - ➤ Longtime Upper St. Clair coach Jim Render—who won two state championships and set a WPIAL record with a career record of 406-141-6—will be inducted into the National High School Football Hall of Fame on June 14 in Canton.
