  • Allegheny County school districts show mixed results in National Education Scorecard data. West Allegheny schools reported higher reading and math levels since 2022 while Pittsburgh Public Schools scored below average and will vote on a Future-Ready Facilities Plan on May 27 (aiming to improve equity and instruction).  The Tribune-Review

  • Prantl’s Bakery in Shadyside faces a consumer alert as inspectors found rodent droppings and food debris on food contact surfaces.
