- ➤ Downtown Market Square was unveiled with a $15 million facelift that added a crescent-shaped pavilion, improved walkways, and 33 new trees on Wednesday afternoon, just ahead of the NFL Draft expected to draw 500,000 fans to the area. The Tribune-Review
- ➤ This spring, a nonprofit bought the Post-Gazette to keep it running and the City Paper returned under new ownership to cover local stories — the Tribune-Review will resume printing its Sunday edition on May 9. These moves mark a positive turnaround for Pittsburgh media after near closures. WPXI
- ➤ Community Field at Hazelwood Green opened on Wednesday in Hazelwood with a ribbon-cutting led by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, the Rooney family, and local leaders.
