ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A car crashed into the front of a Porsche dealership in Pittsburgh’s North Oakland neighborhood on Tuesday morning and damaged the front glass door and part of the building on Baum Boulevard; two people were taken to hospital. WPXI
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ During finals week, campus departments are hosting wellness events to help students de-stress and take breaks from studying. The Campus Recreation Center offers fitness classes and outdoor programs with a 'relax and rage' event on the Cathedral lawn today—while the Student Success Hub and University Counseling Center provide ice cream, therapy dog visits, and creative workshops to ease stress. - ➤ Pittsburgh Regional Transit faces a $100 million state funding gap that may force fare hikes, service cuts, and shorter bus schedules if lawmakers do not act soon. Local advocates and business leaders say a full investment in transit will boost regional growth and help residents who rely on the service—especially those earning less than $25,000 a year—by cutting travel times and easing traffic. - ➤ Aaron Rodgers is still waiting to sign with the Steelers because his longtime friend Davante Adams said Rodgers wants the team to roll out the red carpet and show extra care. - ➤ Pittsburgh is set to host its record-breaking marathon weekend from May 3 to May 4 with 45,000 runners and 85,000 visitors expected to attend. The event at the David L.
