ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ The Allegheny County Fire Marshal is investigating an overnight fire at a Findlay Township home on Poplar Street near Steubenville Pike—firefighters spent hours controlling massive flames just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday and Main Street between Agway and California Hollow in Imperial remains closed as crews work the scene, with it unclear if anyone was injured. - ➤ Two people died after an early Saturday morning house fire in Findlay Township (at 7:47 a.m. on April 19th). WPXI
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police investigated a shooting in Pittsburgh's Perry South neighborhood Saturday morning—two men were found outside a home with gunshot wounds on the 2600 block of Perrysville Avenue and were taken to the hospital as detectives continue their investigation without any suspect in custody. WTAE
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A burst of storms left thousands of West Penn Power customers without electricity on April 19th—service crews are expected to work on restoring power as soon as conditions improve. WPXI

- ➤ Macy's at Pittsburgh Mills Mall in Frazer is now up for sale as the chain shifts its focus to smaller luxury oriented holdings + the two story store building spanning nearly 173,000 square feet remains open and its sale may include a leaseback arrangement for one to two years. WTAE

- ➤ The Steelers are checking who might be their next franchise quarterback as coach Mike Tomlin and executive Omar Khan study past players. The analysis reviews names like Mark Malone, David Woodley and Scott Campbell (and others) to help guide their future plan. Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
