- ➤ The American Legion building in Troy Hill partially collapsed yesterday—officials said no one was inside. WPXI
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Pittsburgh police investigated a crashed car in Shadyside that was detected by ShotSpotter and found to contain two firearms—officers said the driver fled on foot as a K9 unit tried to locate the suspect. WPXI
- ➤ Allegheny County Police are investigating an overnight stabbing in Penn Hills— a woman was stabbed in the chest and taken by private vehicle to a nearby hospital in critical condition, with details about the location and time still unclear. WTAE
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Heavy rainfall overnight closed a portion of Kennedy Boulevard in Aliquippa Saturday morning—just before the interchange of Monaca Road and Franklin Avenue near Cesina Sausage and Waugama Street—and police said the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Aliquippa Water Authority were working to fix the issue while advising drivers to use alternate routes.
