- ➤ Authorities said a 17-year-old was fatally shot in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood on March 27th (2:46 p.m. EDT). WPXI
- ➤ Carla O'Brien, the 48-year-old treasurer for Fox Chapel’s Baseball Softball Association who served from 2019 to 2024, was arrested on Thursday by the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office after she was accused of stealing $143,910 from the organization’s bank accounts — she used the money for personal purchases at stores like Fine Wine and Good Spirits, Target, Nike, and Amazon. - ➤ The Westmoreland County district attorney charged 19-year-old Angel Lopez after he allegedly used TikTok to lure a 13-year-old from Greensburg to Philadelphia—where she was sexually assaulted before she escaped and her mother said she was shocked by the events. WTAE
- ➤ Police arrested Angel Lopez after he allegedly used TikTok to lure a 13-year-old from Westmoreland County and paid for her Uber ride to Philadelphia—she left a note on March 14 that helped police use cellphone data to locate her—and he is accused of sexually assaulting her multiple times. WTAE
