  • 4 The Record is celebrating Black History Month in Pittsburgh as host Sheldon Ingram interviews local museum directors to share the legacy of photographer Charles Teenie Harris and the origins of the celebration (started by Carter G. Woodson).  WTAE

  • The nonprofit Pittsburgh Women's Wellness Drum Circle sets up free drum circles for women each month at the Steel Goat Marketplace. It will host its first Drum Fest on Herrs Island this September — a free event meant to boost wellness through music.  CBS Pittsburgh

  • Greensburg native Jasmine Jones won a bronze medal in the two-woman bobsled race at the Winter Olympics on Feb. 22. She helped her teammate Kaillie Humphries edge out competitors by 0.15 seconds.  CBS Pittsburgh
  • Team Canada will play without captain Sidney Crosby at the men’s hockey gold medal game during the Milan Cortina Games.  WPXI
  • The Pens Elite 10U Gold team watched the gold medal game today in the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex lobby & felt inspired by the US hockey team's win. Team manager Joe Welch said the experience will boost practice and teamwork going forward.  Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
  • Snowboarder Nolan Johngarlo tackled a new 13-foot high and 350-foot long halfpipe at Seven Springs Mountain Resort on Saturday in Somerset County. The feature was built with snowmaking guns (supporting a safe, skill-building experience) as crews continue grooming for optimal conditions.  The Tribune-Review
