- ➤ Allegheny County 911 officials said firefighters were called to Ross Park Mall around 4:15 a.m. on Feb. 8 to respond to an incident; responders arrived quickly to secure the area. WPXI
- ➤ Early Saturday, a massive water main broke in Elrama (Union Township) and damaged a local fire station, several homes, and vehicles while flooding streets and triggering a boil water advisory for 95,000 Penn American Water customers. WTAE
- ➤ Early Sunday, firefighters and police rushed to Ross Park Mall (at 4:15 a.m.) after a fire in a void space raised carbon monoxide levels so the mall may reopen later at noon. WTAE

- ➤ Lending Hearts, a nonprofit helping children and teens battling cancer, is offering free outings, support groups and local events to help families create joyful memories while managing tough diagnoses.
