- ➤ A new agreement now allows FIOS TV customers to watch the Super Bowl and Winter Olympics on WPXI this weekend — after negotiations between Verizon and Cox Media Group ended their retransmission dispute that began last December. The Tribune-Review
- ➤ Eat'n Park has brought back its extra sweet Sweetheart Smiley Cookies at all locations for a limited time. Customers can order them by the dozen in store or online until Feb. 10 to get them by Valentine's Day. WPXI

- ➤ Pittsburgh celebrated Black History Month on Feb. 6 by unveiling an exhibit honoring abolitionist John B. Vashon at City-County Building. Mayor Corey O’Connor and descendant (attorney Paul Thornell) marked his legacy and declared Feb. 6 as Mission Family Day. WTAE
- ➤ Yesterday, the South Hills Coin Club held its annual coin show at the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites in Bethel Park, drawing collectors eager to complete coin sets.
