- ➤ United Methodist Church Union in Northview Heights announced plans to rebuild its Kidcelerate building that served over 400 children with tutoring, arts, and meals. Officials said they will break ground this year and plan to open the facility in 2027. WTAE
- ➤ The nonprofit Friends of the Riverfront is expanding the 35-mile Heritage Trail with a 1.2-mile section linking the Duck Hollow trailhead to the historic Carrie Blast Furnaces in Swissvale.
