  • United will begin daily nonstop flights from Pittsburgh International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport on Mar. 29. The route gives travelers a third West Coast option and boosts the market for business and leisure trips.  WPXI

  • A retro arcade will open at 32 South First Street in Duquesne, in a former church. The Church Arcade offers over 100 arcade games and 30 pinball machines plus tournaments, craft beers, food trucks and a DJ on Jan. 31-Feb. 1 — a fun opening weekend for gamers.  WPXI

  • An AHN clinic on the North Side launched in fall 2024 — combining transplant hepatology and addiction medicine — to fight liver disease with innovative treatment for patients.  Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
  • Former patients of the shuttered UPMC methadone center are now relying on the Narcotic Addiction Treatment Program in Wilkinsburg; Jean arrived at 6 a.m. on Nov. 11 and said she found it to be the perfect clinic alternative (highlighting a renewed focus on accessible care).  Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

  • Penn-Trafford has locked up a playoff spot in the PIHL Class 2A (11-team classification) and aims to continue its winning streak as upcoming games approach later this season.  Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
