About this event
Eastern traditions advise avoiding extremes in the pursuit of building vitality, and wellness.
Changing seasons, life stage and location all present qualities and forces that can produce imbalance in an individual's mind-body. Both indulgence and abstinence can lead to deficiencies. Ayurveda views moderation as a modulatory method of appropriate participation or exposure. As our circumstance changes, our need to be adaptive and responsive is crucial to preserving health and building internal energy reserves. We will survey some advice from eastern traditions on participation and discipline for a fulfilled balanced life. 1 Hour of Lecture followed by 1 Hour Social Hour.
