Junksgiving Feast and Meetup

About this event

Celebrate the season of gratitude with our Junksgiving Feast, a special junk journal event filled with creative treasures! Enjoy a Thanksgiving-style buffet of ephemera and embellishments, featuring papers, book pages, maps, postcards, labels, sheet music, vintage finds, fabric, ribbons, and other unique, curated treasures. Browse the buffet, stock your personal stash, and take your selections home to add to your creative collection. To ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the spread, limits will apply to the number of items each participant may select from each category. Once you've gathered your favorites, settle in and create alongside fellow junk journal enthusiasts. The library will provide tools and basic supplies to use during the event, and you'll have plenty of time to journal, craft, and socialize. Admission is $10 per person and is due at the time of registration. The registration fee is non-refundable and includes access to the Junksgiving Feast buffet, everything you select to take home, and time to create. Register online or in person at the library. If you'd rather skip the buffet and simply join the meetup, you're welcome to do so—just drop in! No registration or payment is required for the meetup-only option. Ages 16 and up. Space for the Junksgiving Feast buffet is limited, and registration is required.
