“Elevating the Jam” Workshop —Creating an ensemble experience at the open jam (For all levels—but may appeal more to adv beginner-intermediate players) —Discussing ways to create a broader, richer sound both vocal and instrumental within the setting of a jam —how to incorporate different playing levels within the group — adding vocal harmony — strum patterns and picking patterns — melody lines — chords up the neck —the workshop will not focus closely on the above skills but capitalize on what the participants already know at their current level
