Tropical Carnivorous Terrarium Workshop

About this event

During this fun workshop, you will learn about the elements of a tropical carnivorous terrarium and then create your own from an assortment of tropical and carnivorous plants. We will provide you with a 7.5 inch glass "moon" terrarium, an assortment of small tropical plants (select 3), 2 carnivorous plants, moss, rocks, pebbles, sand, and other natural materials. If you want to add a special object (seashell, river rock, or tiny figurine, etc.), please first ensure that your object is clean and non-toxic to plants and that it will withstand contact with water - then bring it with you to the workshop. You will leave the workshop with your very own tropical carnivorous terrarium creation! Pre-registration is required. (Workshop photograph is for illustrative purposes only.)
