About this event
This week we will be doing one of my favorite urban hikes in the area before it gets too cold. We will be going from Southside Flats to the iconic inclines and overlooks on Mount Washington. The total distance will be approximately 6 miles.
From there, we will take the iconic Duquesne incline down to the bottom (tickets are $2.75 at the ticket office and free if you have a transit pass) to the 3 Rivers Heritage Trail. We will take in the views on the trail and enjoy good conversation up to the Hofbräuhaus near the Monongahela River.
When we reach Hofbräuhaus, we will enjoy some food and beer in great company.
Metered street parking in Southside is free and the 2-hour parking limits in the neighborhoods are suspended on Sundays until 6pm. This event is paired with 30's-40's Social Club.
Listed by Meetup: Pittsburgh, PA, gathered by the Pittsburgh events calendar.
