Sewickley Academy Department of Visual and Performing Arts invites you to set sail across the Pacific for an unforgettable adventure with Disney’s Moana JR .

Based on the beloved Disney animated film, Moana JR. follows an adventurous teenager who sets out across the ocean to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Guided by the stories of her ancestors and joined by the legendary demigod Maui, Moana embarks on a journey filled with courage, humor, discovery, and some very memorable encounters along the way.

Featuring favorite songs including “ How Far I’ll Go ,” “ You’re Welcome ,” “Shiny,” and “ Where You Are ,” this energetic stage adaptation celebrates community, identity, perseverance, and the courage it takes to find your own way forward.

Performed by students of the Sewickley Academy Middle School , our production brings together student performers, musicians, technicians, designers, and artists from across our community as part of the Academy’s commitment to meaningful, collaborative arts experiences.

We invite our families, friends, and wider Sewickley Academy community to join us for this joyful voyage and celebrate the extraordinary work of our Middle School artists.
